Where previous workshops in the series dove straight into scientific and technical challenges, data collection, analysis and reconstruction, in this installment, we step one level up to address explicitly the basic assumptions about our reality and about ourselves that lead to prospects for neuroprosthetic support and replacement of neural circuits, the emulation of whole brains, and the transfer of a specific mind to an artificial brain. We also address the reasons and goals for neuroprosthetic devices and whole brain emulation.
The event will be accessible online and in Seattle. RSVP now for location details!
